About
Our Editorial Standards & Commercial Transparency Policy
Our guides are written to help you make a good decision, not to sell you a particular product. This page explains how we make money and how we keep that separate from our advice.

How this website is funded
- Affiliate links: some links to complementary products, such as riser recliner chairs, may be affiliate links. If you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are clearly labelled.
- No display advertising: we do not show banner adverts.
How we keep advice independent
- Installers and manufacturers cannot pay to appear in, or influence, our guides.
- Price ranges are our own summary of the market, not supplier prices.
- We do not publish fake reviews, ratings or testimonials.
Accuracy and corrections
Each page shows a last-reviewed date. If you think something is wrong or out of date, please contact us and we will review it promptly. Our guides are general information and are not a substitute for advice from an occupational therapist or other professional.
